MaCaO...!!

Picts of the preserved historical Portuguese buildings as the facade of the modern world...

*
FOODS!!
Famous Macao egg tarts (pict below).. lol
I think it taste pretty much the same as i had back at home!
but still nothing beats eating the food at its authentic origins!

Macao Puddings! (picts below)
The white one is of milk flavour while the yellow one is the egg flavour.
Pretty traumatic experience i had with the egg one.
As it was to be eaten CoLD, it tasted like sweet gooey raw egg straight from the fridge.
But the milk one is the best! I just can't resist milk flavours!
It tasted fantastic though i suspect it was made with milk POWdER though alleged to be FRESh milk!

SASA!
we all know!
Its almost a luxury (at least for poor teens like me) to visit SASA back at home.. LOL!
With the only SASA in City Square (J.B, Malaysia), it is such a drastic difference to see SASA all over Macao and HongKong!
when i say ALL oVer, i meant ALL OVER! LOL
You'll see one almost in every couple of steps!

Yeah, coming to the most memorable parts of my trip..
The Venetian at Macao!
The stunning and breath-taking place equivalent of an Asian Las Vegas!
below: drop-off point area @ The Venetian...

below: painted venetians on the ceiling..

the Golden Paths connecting The Venetian hotel lobby to the Casino (what else?)!

LOLyet another amazing feeling to just walk through this long corridor!

honestly, i really felt pretty Princessy all over for a while! lol

*

.... then we kept walking and losing ways and directions.....

*

After the longest walk ever.........

Finally In the leGendary UlTimAtum Grand Canal Shoppes!

the handsome Gondolier at Work (below pict)!
pity i didnt get to ride in them..
we were too busy getting very LOsT in there looking for the CotaiArena!
lol..

view of canal from inside...

Mother visited her all-time favourite shop- Swarovski..
yep.. the one in ALL-white tee and pants! (see below pict on left)
Some facts..
there are like 350 high-ends shops in there..
daZZlinG!
sadly.. no chance to shop anything for myself!
List includes Guess, Lacoste, DKNY.. blahs...
Interested in knowing the full lists of shops in there?
Check this out!

me and the WhiteMan. (below pict)
you can see i was pretty afraid of nearing him..
he smelled weird and i was afraid of touching him and having some of his rubbing off on me! lol

Finally, we found our way to Rene Liu's Sleepwalking concert venue at the Cotai Arena at Cotai Strip!

random shot.... (below)
my fave picts of Rene i took at the concert!
The concert fused both her stage movements with technology which produced some quite remarkable effects!
She looked so Lovely Red Rose!

so very pretty!
reflections...
just hope to visit there even just one more time...
rene is a truly capable singer with really beautiful vocals..
which i must admit to have never thought so of her before that!
well now i must say..
she sang really well LIVE..

LOL Hanxiong-bEAr.. you must be kidding..
Russia?
It aint in Asia la... lol

Anyway...
For those of you who haven't already know...
Last weekend i went MaCAo!
An absolutely faBuLous place!

One of the places i went was The Venetian which was a fusion of Venice-concepted entertainment-cum-resort place!
Its like stepping into an Asian Las Vegas!
very d.r.e.a.m.y and beautiful..
Definitely worth going there hundred times over...

But my main purpose had been for Rene Liu's (aka Liu Ruoying) concert which is held at The Venetian itself.
Great time i had there!
(minus the time i was so busy snapping and recording away though lol..)

Sorry that i couldn't post any pictures i took there now..
but will do so by next week!
life been's hard to catch up on these days!

So long...

2 Young
Monday, September 15, 2008

A week ago i watched this Hong Kong film which left a significant effect deep in me.
It is a very simple story that depicts pure love, teenage romance and teen pregnancy.
Though the plot itself is nothing fresh neither is it a high-budgeted film, the display of pure love and endurance shared between the 2 main characters are touching. The director managed to keep everything in its purest state with no whatsoever uncomfortable scenes.

Titled 2 Young, it is starred by Jaycee Chan and Fiona Sit, the leads in the film.
You would realise that the title implies 'too young' too which is what the protagonists are.
I'd applaud them for their roles in the film for they portrayed the story almost perfectly.
Honestly, i shed a few tears throughout the film for it was really heart-feeling.

The two protagonists are able to convince its audience that the love between them were real.
Though both being merely teenagers, they are able to understand the meaning of loving unconditionally and that sometimes, sacrifices have to be made.

Fiona Sit who played the daughter of a wealthy family, Natalie, got pregnant with Ka Fu's (Jaycee) child but aGAinst A.L.L oDDs, decided to keep the baby.

Faced by bitter opposition by Natalie's snobbish parents, in desperation, they eloped and tried to eke out a living by themselves, living in a shabby, deserted house.
Ka Fu kept losing his peanuts-paying jobs but seeing Natalie heavily pregnant and mal-nourished, he resorted to stealing for Natalie to nourish her body.
After a while of living together, Ka Fu and Natalie found silence seems to take over the conversations they have for one another.

At this juncture nevertheless they still held on to their wish of building a family together and that the hard times will soon be over.
The high maturity of both the teenagers towards love and endurance was undeniably there.
I thought it was a really, really bEAutiFUl story.
For those of you who don't mind un-fanciful, simple and straight to the point teen-romance movies,
this may be for you.

Classes starting this week for me

And the time for me to stand independent has come as well.

I'm going to miss my family.

Lots and lots.

*A pREScrIpTIon for myself (and those who are feeling the same as i do)*:

Hold fast in your FAITH.

the greatest regret is when you lose them.

Start LOVING yourself TRULY if you haven't been.

the greatest disappointment is to fORgEt loving yourself.

LET love and BE loved.

the greatest error in life is when you dONt KnoW how.

FORGIVE the pasts.

the greatest mistake is to let yourself stuck in an endless circle of hatred.

KEEP CHARGING and N.E.V.E.R. turn bAcK.

this is only then will you come into

A FULL CIRCLE.

the Little Bee Story in me..
Wednesday, September 03, 2008

at last long the knot that has always existed deeply buried somewhere in my heart is finally found..
like many others,
i have my 'times' too.
all these while my mixed feelings was just like a little bee lost in the darkness of the night,
unable to find its way out and into the light it yearns..
all that is needed was the clouds of the dark night to pass for the moonlight to shine,
and be a guiding light for the poor little bee..
but for a long time,
there was never a light bright enough for the little bee..

finally today,

the thick clouds of the night passed and once again,
the little bee found its way home..
the only problem was that it had lingered in the darkness for far too long..
that he has strayed from his destined path..
it though once again could see clearly again,
it has lost its focus..
So now its time for the little bee to look for its destined path again
and follow its glimpses of hOpE and fAItH.
unfortunately along the way, there will be again times when darkness falls...
how could it get out of them again and again?

many a times our lives are akin as the Little Bee's Story.
sometimes no matter how hard we try to pursue our heart desires or reach for our stars,
it would be to no avail.
but it doesn't mean to give up.
until you've tried everything you can don't stop.
if you've tried everything,
just stop for a while and take a rest.
the time when brightness shines will definitely return,
just like the story, even without the sun in the dark night
there will still be the moon.
when we take a step back and do nothing it may be better.
if we move blindly in the dark, we would just end up further from where we want to head.
for months i've been in confusion where in the matters of the affairs of the heart.
but now,
i'm glad the moon has shine for me again.
and though my destiny is still blurred in my vision,
its so much better than nothing at all....

have a cupcake from me...
